Force system from a V-bend ( 2 x 4 appliance )

This calculator can be used to approximate the force system created by placing a single V-bend between first molar and incisors.

This version V.1 (VBENDMAXINMOSSA/L6-10) will provide reliable results for:

  1. Bends placed upto 18 mm mesial to the first molar.

  2. Stainless Steel Archwires only (coming soon for Beta-titanium -TMA/CNA)

  3. Maxillary 2x 4 appliance (only the molars and incisors are bonded)
