Course description
The purpose of FIRST PRINCIPLES (BIO-1) is to introduce the fundamental concepts of biomechanics as they apply to tooth movement. This course will give you an understanding of the mechanical principles that govern tooth movement so that you can develop the ability to link fundamentals to actual clinical situations. You will learn about key mechanics based concepts behind orthodontic tooth movement. The goal is to make your clinical practice more rewarding, and stimulate enthusiasm for the specialty. We sincerely hope that this course will empower you to come up with smarter and intelligent appliances/mechanics to treat patients.
